High-End Embedded Computer the BX960 series with Core i7

CONTEC CO., LTD. (Tokyo Stock Exchange Code: 6639) today introduced our newest variation of embedded computer, the BX960 series, features 44 mm thin chassis and Intel's Core i7 processor 620UE.

This new product, the BX960 series, is a thin industrial computer for embedded use that is built on high-speed CPU and advanced graphics controller. This product is a spindle-less design with CFast on storage, so it is in no danger of dust into its chassis, and this feature reduces need for maintenance. The BX960 series features high-end Dual core CPU, Intel's Core i7 processor 620UE, and a thin and fanless chassis (44 mm) with variety of standard interfaces.

This series is built on Intel's Core i7 processor 620UE that supports turbo boost, so it is possible to process simultaneously 4-threads, and concurrent execution of a number of processing is greatly improved.  Furthermore, the BX960 series is also built in "AMD ATI Radeon E2400" on GPU, and it features 3D graphics and unified video decoder that supports two screens display.

This product's features are thin chassis and variety of interfaces. They include 2x 1000BASE-T, 4x USB ports, 1x serial (RS-232C), 2x CFast card slots, 1x 2.5" SATA slot, and audio.
